Tau Alpha Pi - The National Honor Society for
Engineering Technology Education (Colorado Gamma Chapter) Graduation Cords
From the MSCD Honors page:
"Honor Societies
recognize the outstanding progress students have made in their respective
fields of study. Many honor societies have a service component while the
students are pursuing their degree. Students may join honor societies based on
the given academic requirements of the national organization, in conjunction
with those of the chapter at the Metropolitan State College of Denver.
Students who are
members of an honor society, which has been approved by the Commencement
Committee, may wear honor regalia at Commencement. Graduates who belong to an
academic honor society should contact the faculty advisor of that society to
determine how honor regalia is obtained. Graduates who are members of such
societies may wear honor cords, stoles, or medallions at Commencement, if the
society provides a way for members to obtain such regalia. The Commencement
Office does not make arrangements for the individual honor societies."
Regalia: Yellow (Gold) and Green cords with your Tau
Alpha Pi pin supplied at induction. The cords are supplied free by the local
chapter.
